Dubai covers an area of 497.1 sq. miles (1287.4 square Km) and is estimated to have a population of 2.3 million people being U.A. emirate's capital, main business and economic hub, sometimes called "Dubai City" to distinguish it from the emirate.

Museums

The Godolphin Gallery was named after one of the three founding stallions of the modern Arabian thoroughbred. The Gallery is appropriately located at the Nad Al Sheba racecourse with its rich history of races by the finest thoroughbreds in the world. Every major trophy won by Godolphin’s leading horses is on display amidst photographs depicting victories and written accounts of the races. This lavish display of one of Dubai’s many legacies is a worthy excursion.
